Cleaning Process
Four steps to safely clean your fabric
For routine cleaning of Naizil coated fabrics, follow these steps. Use the least aggressive cleaning method first, and only escalate to stronger solutions if needed.
Rinse
Gently rinse the fabric with clean lukewarm water to loosen and remove loose dirt particles.
Wash
Using a soft sponge or brush and mild soap solution, wash the fabric in small sections with circular motions.
Rinse Again
Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all soap residue. Soap left on the fabric can attract dirt.
Air Dry
Allow the fabric to air dry completely before storing or folding. Avoid direct sunlight when possible.

Do
- Clean spills and stains as soon as they happen
- Use mild soap and lukewarm water for routine cleaning
- Use a soft sponge or soft-bristle brush only
- Test any new cleaning product on a small hidden area first
- Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue
- Allow fabric to air dry completely before storage
Don’t
- Use power washers or high-pressure sprays — they damage the coating
- Use abrasive scrubbers, wire brushes, or steel wool
- Apply harsh solvents, acetone, or undiluted bleach
- Let stains sit — older stains are much harder to remove
- Store fabric while damp — moisture can cause mildew
- Fold or roll tightly while damp — can leave permanent creases
Stain Types
Cleaning by stain type
Different stains call for different approaches. Always start with the gentlest method and only escalate if needed.
Light stains
Dirt, dust, food residue: mild dish soap diluted in warm water, applied with a soft sponge. Rinse thoroughly.
Moderate stains
Oil, grease, or set-in dirt: a 10% household ammonia solution may help. Always rinse fully with clean water afterward.
Stubborn stains
Ink, paint, mold: contact Naizil for product-specific guidance. Aggressive solvents may damage the coating permanently.
